Sortieren, oder nicht – Sort, or not

Seit längerem überlege ich, ob ich meinen Wollvorrat mal richtig sortieren und katalogisieren soll. Das geht ziemlich gut bei ravelry. Mit Foto, allen möglichen Angaben zur Wolle selbst und auch der Notizmöglichkeit, wo man denn nun dieses schöne Knäuel verstaut hat.
Ich überlege immer noch. Denn einerseits würde ich schon gerne mal genauer wissen, welche Wolle ich habe und wieviel. Andererseits schreckt mich echt die Arbeit ab…
Foto, hochladen, Infos eintippen… hm, da geht sicher mehr als ein kompletter Tag bei drauf.
Mal sehen, praktisch wäre es schon. Aber wenn, dann nur häppchenweise.

For some time I consider to sort and catalog my stash. This is pretty cool on ravelry. Which picture, a lot of informations of the yarn, and the possibility to make notes about where this pretty skein is hiding.
I am still considering. On the one hand I really would like to know which yarn I own and how much. On the other hand I am scared off by the work… Picture, upload, typing all the notes… hm, this would be more than a whole day.
We will see, it would be very handy. But when, then only bit by bit.

 

Facelift

Nach langer Zeit stelle ich mal wieder das Design um. Hoffentlich bleibt’s so…
Ständig umstellen ist ja auch nicht so der Hit.
Hm, Tja, meine Stricksachen. Da war doch was. Ich habe seit November einen angefangenen Pulli für meine Tocher auf den Nadeln. Das Teil will einfach nicht fertig werden. Ein schönes Baumwollgarn, kann man echt nicht meckern. Aber mir fehlt die Elastizität, die ich bei Schurwollgarnen habe wie z.B. Sockenwolle. Und daher dauern Projekte aus Baumwollgarnen bei mir leider grundsätzlich länger.
Es fehlen nur noch die Ärmel und der Kragen. Eigentlich gar nicht so viel und in Gr. 152 auch nicht so riesig. Ständig denke ich an neue Dinge, die ich stricken möchte. Ich surfe im Netz, hänge eine Ewigkeit bei ravelry rum, mache mit Notizen oder Bookmarks und über all dem Kram vergesse ich an dem Pulli weiterzustricken.
Wenn ich das nicht immer vor mir herschieben würde, wäre er sicherlich schon fertig.

After a long time I changed the design again. I hope this time it will stay this way…
Always changing is not so good.
Hm, well, my knitting. Since November there’s a jumper for my daughter on my needles. This thing doesn’t want to get finished. A really beautiful cotton yarn, no complaining. But I miss the springiness of wool like sockyarn. Therefor projects made of cotton yarn always take more time.
Only the arms are missing and the collar. Not much and in children’s size for age 10 not so big. All the time I’m thinking of new things I want to knit. I look in the Internet, I look at ravelry, make notes and set bookmarks, and simply forget to knit the jumper.
If I won’t procrastinate the jumper would be already finished.
*sigh*

Zwei Paar – Two Pairs

Ich weiß gar nicht, ob ich mich überhaupt noch für meine sporadischen Blogeinträge entschuldigen soll – vermutlich liest kaum noch jemand…
Aber für alle, die immer noch durchhalten, in der Hoffnung, ich möge doch etwas schreiben, sind hier gleich zwei Paar Socken zu sehen.

Dieses wunderbare beinahe neongelbe Wolle ist aus der FLorida-Reihe von ONline. Das Muster ist BubbleStream und bei ravelry zu finden.

Dieses Muster nennt sich Hermione’s Everyday Socks und ist ebenfalls bei ravelry. Die Wolle ist Fortissima Mexico Color, Elements, Farbe 27 Feuer.
Wegen der Streifenbildung habe ich die Wolle lange im Schrank gehabt, denn ich stricke gerne Mustersocken und nur sehr, sehr ungern glatt rechts. Und Streifenwolle verträgt sich eben äußerst schlecht mit Mustern, deshalb mußte diese Wolle ein wenig warten.

I really doubt if I should apoligise again for my sporadic blogging – I think there’s noone reading anymore…
But for all who still hold on and hope that I will write a little bit, here a two pairs of socks to see.
The first pair is worked in a bright yellow from ONline FLorida Color. The pattern is BubbleStream from ravelry.
The second pattern is Hermione’s Everyday Socks from ravelry and worked in Fortissima Mexico Color , Elements, #27 Fire. Because of the self-striping the yarn has been a long time in my closet.
